Hello! I'm so glad you're interested in auditioning for Vermillion Community Theatre's production of Shrek: The Musical! Auditions will be on April 27th at 2:00pm at Vermillion High School. Please prepare one of the vocal selections below that best fits your vocal range. If you would like to play a principal/named character, please prepare "I Think I've Got You Beat" and if you're only interested in auditioning for the ensemble or if you're under the age of ten, please prepare the cut below from "Freak Flag." The auditions will consist of a singing portion, acting exercises consisting of improvisations and cold readings from the script, and a dance portion. We will also measure everyone for costumes. Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in.

General Information:
This production features roles for actors of all genders and ages, and includes both singing and non-singing roles. This show has room for young actors, provided they have completed kindergarten.

Audition Information:
Auditions will be Sunday, April 27th at 2 pm at the Thomas H. Craig Center for the Performing Arts at Vermillion High School.

Audition Materials:
You should show up at your audition having printed and filled out the following forms:

• VCT Photo Release and Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement Form

Those auditioning should be prepared to perform assigned selections from the musical which are posted here in both written and audio formats.
