Shrek Call Backs

Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for sharing your time and talent with us at auditions yesterday! I was very impressed by the talent and collegiality that came through from this wonderful group! 

As I've already told you, we have very limited callback time, so we've also kept the callback list relatively short. Most of the people who will be cast in the show are not on this list. The cast list will be posted on this website by 5pm on Wednesday, May 7th. Make sure you check back then!

If you are on the callback list, please print off and prepare the musical cuttings and script sides that are relevant to your character. I would like you to perform these in your own accent and with your own personal spin (no Mike Meyers impressions, please 🙂). The callback schedule is below. Please plan to arrive at the Arena Theatre in USD's Fine Arts Building at least 15 minutes before your call time. If you are running late or unable to attend, please contact our stage manager, Alexis Meyer (Text: (605)251-6213 with your name) as soon as possible. When you arrive, please check in with Alexis and she will send you to our designated 'green room' area to wait for your group.

1:30 - 2:00: Farquaad (What's Up, Duloc & Sides if time)
2:00-2:20: Young Fionas (I Know It's Today)
2:20-2:30: Break
2:30-2:40: All Fionas (Lineup)
2:40-3:00: Adult Fiona (Morning Person)
3:00-3:50: Shrek, Donkey, Fiona (Trio Sides)
4:00-4:30: Donkey (Don't Let Me Go)
4:30-5:00: Shrek (Who I'd Be)
